Our Tarot Journey Began...

Like the hero’s journey, our tarot journey began with the Fool card. After making the leap into our adventure, we have been learning a lot along the way! We love the involvement from our followers as well as making new friends that have helped us with encouragement or a helpful hand.

“It Takes a Village to Raise a Child” - an African proverb

This phrase has become so near and dear to our hearts, knowing that it takes a community to allow something to flourish. Our “child,” The Key Tarot, was born out of our love for tarot and the immense amount of help it can provide in one’s life. During those tough times when we need a little spiritual guidance, tarot is there for us to show us what we need to see in the right moment.

And HOW is it always so spot on?!

While we are not here to solve the great mysteries of that question (though we often ponder this in our spare time), we know that whatever the “HOW” is, it just works. Whether healing past trauma, shedding some light in a dark situation, drying your tears, empowering your next decision, or just providing the extra sass you need to get your butt into gear, we hope that our tarot deck will be there for you like an embrace of a wise friend.

You know… that type of friend that just GETS you?

We love those types of friends! Every time we mention we are working on a tarot project, we invite more awesome people like you into our lives. Since we did not know what to expect, this has truly been one of the most surprising and rewarding elements to our journey. Meeting YOU and hearing about your connections to tarot has fueled us to continue each day with creative passion.

So, Where Are We Now and What’s Next?

By the end of the March, we will be officially half-way done with this deck! While that is a huge accomplishment, there is still a ton of work to be done. Each card is a piece of art and takes hours to complete. That’s 39 more cards, plus a tarot guide booklet, box, and of course, sharing it all with you guys! Here is a sneak peek at some more cards that may not have been uploaded yet to the website or social media. A first look into some newly created cards:

When we connect, we can raise each other up! We want to create a friendly community full of fun sharing and learning opportunities. While we have BIG DREAMS of growing, you can currently find us posting regularly on Instagram @thekeytarot.

We will also be posting our monthly updates, like this one, to our UPDATES page. This will also get sent out as an email to keep you in-the-know!
